Inspired from an engraving by Mauro Gandolf made in 1802, this painting illustrates the meeting of Diogenes and Alexander, commenting on the interaction between two vastly different people and lifestyles. Fascinated by the stories of their interaction, this painting and exhibition as a whole reflects the fusion of contrasting art styles and messages conveyed by each.
